neurótica:bioII es la segunda manifestación pública de un proyecto de investigación que examina la ansiedad de la sociedad actual generada por el acelerado desarrollo en tecnociencia.
Neurotica:bio explora la percepción social de los avances de las modernas biotecnologías y los temores y expectativas asociadas a lo "bio".
Critical Art Ensemble es un colectivo de tactical media que explora las intersecciones entre arte, teoría crítica, tecnología y activismo político.
The Body Proud es una instalación performática que invita al público a tomar una sesión de shiatsu mientras que se exponen datos estadísticos del uso de servicios psiquiátricos y las ganancias de empresas farmaceúticas en terapias psicoactivas en Europa en tiempos de la ubicuidad digital. El performance se desarrolla en las salas de Intermediæ con la implicación del público.
Eugene Thacker es profesor adjunto en la Escuela de Literatura y Cultura del Instituto de Tecnología de Georgia (Atlanta, EE.UU.), es autor de Global Genome, Biomedia y The Exploit: A Theory of Networks.
Extinción y Existencia examina el tema de "extinción" y su consideración cultural para replantear el concepto de vida como un concepto filosófico.
Seguirá a su intervención un diálogo con la investigadora Raquel Renno y el público.
Raquel Renno es Doctora en Comunicación y Semiótica (Cultura en ambientes mediáticos) – Universidad Católica de São Paulo, investigadora del Consejo Nacional del Desarrollo Tecnológico y Científico (CNPQ, Brasil) y colaboradora del proyecto de arte digital Influenza con Rafael Marchetti.

neurótica:bioII is the second public manifestation of a research project that examines the anxieties of contemporary society, generated by the rapid advances made in science and technology. Neurótica:bio explores society's perception of advances in biotechnology and the hopes and fears associated with them.
Critical Art Ensemble is a collective of tactical media practitioners that explore the intersecions between art, critical theory, technology and political activism.
The Body Proud is a live installacion exploring the pathologycal impacto of digital information and communication technology on the human body and mind. The visitors are invited to take a shiatsu session while while they are surrounded by monitors scrolling through the EU statistics on the explosive growth of psychiatric services in the time of digital ubiquity.
Eugene Thacker is the author of a number of books on the philosophy of science and technology, including 'Biomedia,' 'The Global Genome: Biotechnology,
Politics, and Culture,' and 'The Exploit: A Theory of Networks' (co-authored with Alexander Galloway). He teaches at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in Atlanta (USA). Extinction and Existence will examine the theme of extinction and the way that is prompts us to reconsider the concept of life as a philosophical concept.
Raquel Renno holds a PhD on Communication and Semiotics ("Culture in Mediated Enviroments") by the Catholic University of Sao Paolo, she is researcher in the National Council of Technologycal and Scientific Research (CNPQ, Brasil) and colaborator in the digital art project Influenza with Rafael Marchetti.

It is a collaborative project that aims to build bridges for dialog among separate disciplines, and stimulate critical thought through the exchange of knowledge.
